On November 10, 2025, ISKP affiliated media al-Mursalatissued a statement commenting and acknowledging the death of one of its member, Ziauddin, assassinated in Bajaur in early November 2025.
The statement claims that Ziauddin was a resident of Bajaur tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He had joined the TTP becoming one of its members when the TTP was formed in 2007. He remained within the ranks of the TTP and eventually migrated to Kunar with his family following Pakistan’s Operation Rah-e-Rast against the TTP in Swat.
