Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has published a six-minute-long video entitled "From the Desert of Leili
To the Conquest of Kabul," in Urdu with subtitles available in Arabic, English, Pashto and Urdu.
The video opens with footage depicting captured Taliban and Al-Qaeda fighters at the Qala-i-Jangi fortress near Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, in 2001. Hundreds, including American John Walker Lindh, revolted against their Northern Alliance captors, triggering fierce clashes with US and British special forces.
